Stringy Cheese Loaf |

Directions |
1 loaf French bread
6 oz. cream cheese (softened works best)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 8 oz).
1/2 cup chopped green onions (with tops)
4 tbsp margarine or butter (softened)
1/2 tsp garlic salt
Cut bread diagonally into 1-inch slices, cutting almost to the bottom of loaf.
Mix remaining ingredients.
Spread between slices of bread.
Wrap loaf securely in aluminum foil.
In grill,
Place 5 to 6 inches from medium coals, turning once until cheese is melted (8-10 minutes).
Unwrap foil and grill uncovered 5 minutes longer.
In oven,
Preheat oven to 350-375, grill 25+ minutes until cheese is melted and bread is somewhat toasted.
