at least 3 lbs ground
beef Soy Sauce Garlic Powder Ground Black Pepper 1
Egg
Note: If less that 3 lbs of ground beef is used, omit
the the egg and add a small amount of soy sauce or the beef will be
runny.
Put ground beef in mixing bowl and add
egg. Pour soy sauce over meat (approx 1/8 cup for 2 lbs
meat). Sprinkle garlic powder over
meat (enough to very lightly cover the top of the meat). Sprinkle
pepper over meat (again, use a light covering, add more if
desired). Mix thoroughly. Make patties and grill.
For
added flavor: Grill onion slices on grill rack to add to
hamburger.
Place cheese on the patties during the
last couple of minutes of cooking. Some cheese suggestions
are: provolone, mozzarella, cheddar, and of course
American.
Add grilled bacon to hamburger (grilling bacon tastes
much better than fried bacon and does not have the grease that fried bacon
has).
